Syrian security forces accused of killing hundreds of civilians

Syrian leader Ahmed Shara called for peace days after the clashes, as it was claimed that the Syrian security forces had killed hundreds of civilians from the upper religious minority.

The Syrian Observatory in the United Kingdom for Human Rights (Sohr) – which monitors the fighting in Syria – said that about 745 civilians were killed in 30 “massacres” targeting the high in coastal areas on Friday and Saturday.
