Thousands of people demonstrated again against the government of Prime Minister Robert Fico and Ukraine’s policy in Bratislava and many other cities in Slovakia on Friday.

According to media estimates, nearly 10,000 people gathered in Bratislava alone. They chanted and carried banners calling for the resignation of Fico, who accused her of following a pro -Russian path.

The peace for Ukrainian citizens called for gatherings. It calls for the strongest military support for Ukraine and collects donations to buy ammunition.

On the Internet and from the platform of speakers in the protest gathering in Bratislava, the initiative announced that 75,000 people have already donated ammunition to Ukraine. It was reported that two days ago, an amount of 5 million euros ($ 5.4 million) was reached.

The demonstrations are part of a continuous series of protests that take place for several weeks.

The left -wing populist organizers, Fico, accuses the service of Russian interests of refusing to send weapons to the neighboring country, Ukraine and remote Slovakia from Europe.

One of the demonstrations said: “The luxury patriots defend European Slovakia! While the world discourages new defense alliances, our leaders retreat and leave us in danger.”

After Fico won the parliamentary elections in the fall of 2023, he stopped delivering weapons from Slovakia’s military stocks to Ukraine. However, commercial weapons sales continue.

In addition, Slovakia provides a country adjacent to “non -deadly” goods such as mine and generators.

Slovakia also interferes with electricity supplies when the Russian bombing paralyzes Ukrainian rule.

Since the beginning of the year, Fico has been in a conflict with Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski, because he stopped crossing the Russian gas on which the Slovakia relied.
