Women in Ukraine are the most willing to create their own business compared to the rest of Europe, according to a new research commissioned by MasterCard.
Of all Ukrainian women, who live in a war area and face very difficult conditions, two -thirds (66 %) says they are planning to start their business. Among those who consider the same thing, the percentage is higher between the younger generation, where more than four fifths of Gen Z (83 %) wants to take this faith leap.
MasterCard said that entrepreneurs play an important role in economic development, flexibility and recovery, adding that it is also driven by supporting a positive change in the world.

Ukrainians, both men and women, indicate that there are no funds as a major reason they have not yet started (65 % of men and 76 % of women). Women were also called the lack of experience (47 %), knowledge (36 %), self -confidence (38 %) as the main factors that prevent them from starting a business.
Ukrainian women are more interested in opening their online sales (22 %), education, including lessons (17 %), agriculture (15 %), food and drink (15 %).
More and more women in the European Union, which is strengthened by the Self of Genz, is going to create its own business to gain financial independence, improve the flexibility of work and life, and make a change in the world.
According to the report, which was implemented in 41 countries around the world, four of every ten European women looked at their own business management, this percentage is the highest between Gen Z (62 %) and Millennium Women (53 %).

Inside the European Union, Portuguese women are the most willing to create their business, and they are comfortable with basic financial skills, such as dealing with savings and budgets, from ordinary European women (21 %).
“Our data has found that Portuguese (62 %), Polish (47 %) and Greek women (46 %) are more likely than normal European women (40 %) to consider the start of their own business,” Dal Dal told Euronus.
According to the report, those who not only think, but in reality they plan to create their business in these countries, are also in Portugal, 56 %; In Poland 36 %; And in Greece 46 %.
Behind the increased appetite for entrepreneurship, the report shows that women in Europe in Europe are likely to start a company to do “a good thing for the world” (19 % compared to 13 % of the millennial generation, 14 % of Gen X and 16 % of children’s children).
When this is reflected, education and child care are among the three best sectors in which European women want business in the field of business. However, the first place is dedicated to cosmetics, which is largely the most popular sector for this generation (26 % compared to 10 % of the European average among women).

According to the report, concerns related to the risks of failure (31 %), the lack of financial resources (29 %) and the lack of experience (28 %) are the highest obstacles mentioned by women who have not yet started their own business.
Confidence is also a major challenge for women, who also say they are not commensurate with important obligations (both for children or older family members) as well.
MasterCard leaders as well as Amazon Web Services agree on the presence of great potential for digital technologies to transform the setting and managing small companies, and entrepreneurs can benefit from these things in particular.
